Daniel Hook is CEO of Digital Science. Daniel has more than 20 years of experience in the research information management and scholarly communications spaces.

He is a co-founder of Symplectic and of Dimensions and has worked with many companies to bring their products to market. Daniel believes that openness is fundamental to the power of research to change our lives. He served on the ORCID and RoRI boards.

In his spare time, Daniel continues to be an active researcher associated with Imperial College London and Washington University in St Louis.
